Founded at the University of Toronto, Lydia AI is backed by Information Venture Partners and Kickstart Ventures (the corporate venture arm of Globe Telecom). With offices in Canada, and Taiwan we are expanding our engineering team in the Philippines to support growth across Asia.

About the Role
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us maintain and improve the infrastructure behind Lydia AI’s data and agentic systems. You’ll work with our developers and data teams to build efficient pipelines, ensure smooth deployments, and keep our environments secure and stable.
This role is great for someone with 3–5 years of experience who enjoys solving practical infrastructure problems, automating repetitive tasks, and learning new technologies in a global AI environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of Lydia AI’s services on AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and releases.
  • Help set up and manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) for consistent, repeatable setups.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve reliability.
  • Contribute to security and compliance practices as part of ongoing SOC2 / ISO27001 work.

Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Solid understanding of AWS (EC2, S3, ECS/EKS, IAM, CloudWatch) or equivalent cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Comfortable working with Linux servers and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience with Docker containers; some exposure to Kubernetes preferred.
  • Basic scripting ability in Bash, Python, or similar for automation.
  • Familiar with version control systems (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, or similar).
  • Understanding of data pipelines or AI/ML system deployment.
  • Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

Why Lydia AI
At Lydia AI, we believe in building technology that serves real people. You’ll join a diverse global team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. We encourage experimentation, support growth, and celebrate different perspectives  because that’s how meaningful innovation happens.
